Overview
The Darling Objects lost wax ring workshop at Peachy Keen Ceramics, a home studio in Mount Eliza on the Mornington Peninsula. You learn to work with jeweller's wax, then design, carve and shape your own ring. No jewellery experience is needed, and you don't need to arrive with a design idea: they help you work it out. Once your ring is finished it is sent off for casting, and Holly, the studio jeweller, polishes it ready to wear. All wax, tools and workshop materials are included, with sterling silver casting (up to 10g of silver) in the $280 price. You can choose solid 9ct gold or bronze instead, with any extra metal cost charged by weight. The studio address is sent by email after you book.
